Welcome to the SCMA Events mini-site. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Website and www.scma.org.sg (the "Website"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website.

The contents of this website are provided without any warranties of any kind whether express or implied, and are not intended to and do not in any way constitute legal or professional advice of any kind.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound, gagged, and held ransom by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, leave.

The Website is provided for informational purposes only. You may use the Website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Website:

[Right to Remove] We do not monitor uploaded content nor conduct searches for circumstances which would indicate an illegal activity. However, we reserve the right to remove content that is illegal, offensive or otherwise objectionable.

For example, we may remove reviews/responses that we believe are false, unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing or advocates harassment of another person, threatening, contravenes Singapore laws relating to public order, invasive of an individual’s privacy, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent, seditious, promotes feelings of ill-will and hostility between difference races, classes or religions, or otherwise objectionable.

The content, features, and functionality of the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, are owned by SCMA or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms and your use of the Website will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SCMA is domiciled (make a guess) without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. If we become engaged in a dispute, we both agree that the only place we may do so is the Singapore courts.

We are committed to handling your personal data with care and in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. By providing us with your personal data, you agree to receive marketing and promotional information and materials by postal mail, telephone, facsimile, and via any form of electronic transmission.
